Daniel Schneitter - On turning attention inward
I have been working full-time as a shiatsu therapist since 1996. I am the director of education at the Phoenix School, Zurich, where I teach in training and continuing education. I give individual and group supervision for complementary therapists. I see Shiatsu as a learning process in which it is important to accompany clients in their concerns in an appreciative, mindful and creative way. I am interested in the question of what creates the space to initiate change. An open shiatsu touch, as an invitation to BE, which gives space and acknowledges what is there. Breathing changes and Ki begins to flow. My path has been influenced by Akinobu Kishi, Thich Naht Hanh, Bill Palmer, Pauline Sasaki, Cliff Andrews and last but not least by my clients.
