Programme

We will use an online tool in which you can manage your workshop choices up until the start of the congress.

First come, first serve policy: those who book the first tickets will have first choice of making reservations for the workshops.
Exact information about this process will be sent by email and posted on the ESC website.

Ticket cancellation

Should you, for any reason not be able to attend after having bought a ticket. Please try to resell your ticket to a colleague and be sure to contact us for further communication.

If you are unable to resell your ticket, 80% of the ticket price will be refunded if you contact us via info@europeanshiatsucongress.eu prior to 1 April 2020. After that date, refunds are not possible.

I would like to help as a volunteer

If you’d like to volunteer please email Karlijn at: volunteers@europeanshiatsucongress.eu

Volunteering prior to the ESC

We are looking for Native Dutch speakers with expertise in the following areas:
Webmasters, Translation ( Dutch-English proof reading and editing), Copywriting, Press kit creation, Writing (NL/EU) subsidy applications.

Other countries/languages:
You can assist with promoting the ESC within your own (Facebook) community or country.

Volunteering during the event

At the moment only shiatsu students staying in the Netherlands are  being invited to volunteer at the ESC event. This is so they have the opportunity to experience the congress.

Where can I connect with other congress visitors?

Via our ESC Facebook page.

Staying in Amsterdam

Amsterdam: Hotels, Youth hostels, Botels (boats), Bed & Breakfast.
Be sure to make reservations well in advance, for example via Booking.com or Airbnb.

For cheaper options: try Haarlem or other places North of Amsterdam.

Is it possible to visit the congress only for one day and how much would the ticket cost ?

At the moment it is not possible to buy a one day ticket. Our preference is that attendees come for three days to make a shared experience.

Depending on how the ticket sale proceeds, the ESC organisers may decide whether attendees are able to attend individual workshops or single days (for example on a specific day). However, this will only be decideded after the entire program is known and the holders of the three-day ticket have registered for their preferred workshops.

Has the ESC Amsterdam 2020 congress been accredited as an official training? And if so, how many points can I earn?

Please check with your association in your home country. If needed, they can contact us for more detailed information about the programme.
