About Thomas / Über Thomas

Thomas Dinter, 1975 born in Vienna, lives Shiatsu for 20 years and looks back on an experience of more than 15.000 treatments. He graduated at Hara Shiatsu Academy in 1999, and since then teaches as part of the tutors team as senior teacher, meanwhile specialized in postgraduates studies focusing on the topics of „Eight Extrameridians“, „Energetic Osteopathy“ and „The Souls of the 5 Elements“. Furthermore he is in charge of the anatomy studies at the Academy. What Thomas loves about Shiatsu, is its simpleness and clarity, which enables us to reach the centre to spark the healing from within.

Since 1998 he is senior student of Peter den Dekker, and by him and Master Lam Kam Chüen authorized to teach Chi Kung in all aspects and levels, Thomas is teacher and instructor of regular Chi Kung courses (IQTÖ) in Austria. Thereby he gained long-term experiences in geriatric clinics (osteoporosis) and rehabilitation clinics (addictive resp. cardiovascular disorders and diseases of the musculoskeletal system) by stabilizing chi-training. „Many life topics have analogies in chi kung postures, like grounding, creating space, establishing relationship and keeping the centre. While standing, you are like a tree: you grow from within, the sky is your limit.“

Wenn Du stehst, bist Du wie in Baum: Du wächst von innen, `the sky is your limit´.”
