About Cliff / Über Cliff
Cliff Andrews (BSc PGCE (PCE) MRSS T) is an international Shiatsu practitioner and teacher, and has taught widely in Europe, the USA and Australia. He has been studying, practicing and teaching Shiatsu since 1981, he served a full time apprenticeship with Pauline Sasaki in the USA in 1986. In the 1986 Cliff co-founded the Shiatsu College UK, www.shiatsucollege.co.uk, with Carola Beresford-Cooke, Paul Lundberg and Nicola Pooley.
Cliff pioneered the use of the internet for networking in Shiatsu and in 2001 hosted the world’s first web based Shiatsu seminar with Pauline Sasaki. In 2007 launched e-learning delivery for Shiatsu CPD training. In 2010 Cliff launched the New Energy Work project to provide a central focus for his teaching work and international collaborations at www.newenergywork.com the online community now numbers more than 2,000 participants world-wide.
Cliff has developed the new techniques of Whole Body Scanning, Meridian scanning, Vibrational Level work, and has recently worked with scientists such as James Oschman and Dan Keown in developing an understanding of Shiatsu and Energy Work. Cliff is well known for his development of Shiatsu diagnosis and treatment and is renowned for his clear, structured and supportive teaching style.
