One of our favourite excuses when being late in class was: the bridge was open!
The many canals of our country gave every school child at least one bridge to cross between house and school. When my daughter was small she stated she wanted to become a bridge keeper. Why? I would ask. So then I can press buttons all the time! Nowadays, alas, most of the bridges have become navigable at a distance, with camera’s to controll those wanting to cross after the barriers have closed…

Please check these pictures to see what briljant new destination for our bridge houses has been carried out. We still have plenty beds in the Shiatsu Hotel. But if you have different plans and want to take your partner along to Amsterdam surprise her or him with a romantic stay in one of our bridge houses!

For a small sympathatic hotel close tot he Vondelpark, please try Hotel Atlas or Magnolia Hotel Amsterdam. They also have triples, if you would like to share a room and costs.

If you prefer a canal in the centre: check out Hotel Ambassade. More upgraded, but still with a family touch.

A little further from the centre at Rembrandtpark you find the Leonardo Hotel. This park is practically almost connected to the Vondelpark – so easy and pleasant to reach venues by bike!

Olympic Hotel at the Olympic stadium is not too far from the centre in a nice green neighbourhood.

And a lot more, have fun surfing the internet, with www.ecosia.org of course 😉

Book a ticket at the congress, choose a hotel and make the most out of your stay in beautiful Amsterdam!
